We are looking for a Lifestyle/Care Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support the Lifestyle Coordinator in creating and implementing activity plans designed to help clients lead active, independent lives. If you're passionate about supporting clients' wellbeing and contributing to their daily enjoyment, mecwacare Elstoft House, is the perfect place for you.

What you bring:

  • Certificate III/IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure)
  • Previous experience in a similar role within residential aged care setting
  • Ability to contribute to the assessment of each client's social and emotional needs and design appropriate, individual lifestyle programs to meet their needs.
  • Demonstrated experience of understanding and implementation of client care plans.
  • An understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people
  • A proactive approach to client care and wellbeing.
  • You will be self-motivated with well-developed organisational skills with the ability work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Full Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
