Start Date: Monday (Immediate Start)

Contract Duration: 10 months

Rate: Up to $65 per hour

Project Value: $7 million

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive WHS Advisor to join a major construction project in Adelaide. The role is a 10 month contract supporting a high value build, providing hands-on health, safety, and compliance leadership across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of WHS frameworks.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legislative and company safety requirements.
  • Assist in incident reporting and investigations, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Deliver WHS training, inductions, and toolbox talks to site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including reporting to regulators as required.
  • Collaborate with project teams to promote a proactive safety culture across the site.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
  • Must have experience working with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport
  • Proven experience as a WHS Advisor in construction projects, ideally with multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site.
  • Current construction White Card and relevant high-risk work tickets are desirable.
