Mader International are looking for experienced Underground Fitters who are interested in working at an international level. These positions will take your career to new heights as you build a global perspective, experience new places and cultures.

About the role:

  • Based across multiple sites in Papua New Guinea - Various locations
  • You will be required to work on Sandvik Underground Mining Equipment
  • Rewarding opportunities working alongside the national workforce
  • Improving machine advance your skills with exposure to new equipment and environments
  • Rates up to $110.00 AUD per hour
  • Rosters available - 4 weeks on 4 weeks off

Qualifications, skills and knowledge:

  • Australian/New Zealand recognised trade qualifications
  • 5 years post trade experience (highly desired)
  • Hold a current Australian/New Zealand passport (with at least 6 months validity)
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • Extensive knowledge of Underground Mining Equipment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to read schematics
