Responsibilities
  • Apply as Diesel Fitters, Auto Electricians, and Electricians on South Africa and Botswana projects.
  • Mentor local personnel and transfer skills and knowledge.
Key Requirements
  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate (Electrical License if applying for electrical vacancies).
  • Experience working as an expatriate is highly regarded.
  • Ability and willingness to transfer/mentor skills and knowledge to local personnel.
  • First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • Valid International Manual Driver's Licence, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
  • High Voltage switching license (Electrical specific).
  • Heavy Vehicle Trade certificate (Mechanical specific).
  • Minimum 5 years' underground mining experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of contemporary underground mining practices to maximise safety and productivity.
  • Work ethic aligned with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
