Mader are seeking skilled Underground Heavy Diesel Mechanics to carry out planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance across our diverse fleet of heavy mobile equipment.

Working on a large fleet of underground mining equipment, including CAT haul trucks, R2900G & R2900XE loaders, ITs, Sandvik drills, Normet agitators, charge vehicles, and ancillary gear.

This position will be an 8/6 FIFO roster – Rotating dayshift/nightshift with direct flights to site from Perth, Brisbane and Darwin and great camp facilities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Australian recognised trade certificate
  • 5 years post trade experience (highly desired)
  • Experience with CAT and Sandvik underground hard rock machinery (highly regarded)
  • Expertise in breakdowns, diagnostics, and component-level repairs
  • Australian Working Rights
