The Role

We're looking for a detail-driven Test & Tag Technician to carry out electrical safety testing, tagging, and reporting across client sites. You'll plan your day, visit multiple locations, and keep workplaces safe by ensuring portable appliances meet compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test and tag portable electrical equipment in accordance with AS/NZS 3760 (and site procedures)
  • Record results in digital systems; generate compliance reports and asset registers
  • Identify and isolate unsafe equipment; communicate issues and recommendations to clients
  • Schedule and manage retest cycles; maintain tidy records and labels
  • Maintain testing equipment and stock; uphold WHS policies at all times
  • Provide friendly, professional on-site service and represent our brand

What You'll Need

  • Previous test & tag experience (preferred) or strong electrical/mechanical aptitude
  • Current Test & Tag competency (e.g., Statement of Attainment for AS/NZS 3760) or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver's licence; comfortable travelling between sites
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Confident using mobile apps/spreadsheets for data entry and reporting
  • White Card and current Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Working with vulnerable people card (or ability to obtain)
  • Bonus: Electrical trade background (e.g., electrician/TA)
