HealthTrack is an all-in-one practice management and clinical information system for specialist practices. Designed in partnership with healthcare professionals, our flagship platform streamlines patient management, billing, imaging and clinical reporting for many of the nation's tertiary hospitals and specialist practices.

HealthTrack has been recently purchased by new owners and is undergoing significant investment to expand the team and capabilities.

Position Overview

The Level 1 Support Specialist provides technical support to clinicians, medical practice staff, and hospital IT teams. This role involves diagnosing software and system issues, providing user training, and advising on best practices for effective use of the HealthTrack software platform.

Key Responsibilities

·      Provide timely and professional technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance.

·      Create and maintain accurate documentation, including knowledge-base articles and internal support procedures.

·      Provide guidance on billing workflows, including Medicare, DVA, Eclipse, and private health fund billing.

·      Communicate customer feedback and recurring issues to product management and the development manager.

·      Handle sensitive medical data with confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

·      Basic knowledge of software applications, Windows operating systems, and networking concepts.

·      Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

·      Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple support tasks effectively.

·      Commitment to providing a high-quality customer experience.

Advantageous Experience

·      Previous experience with HealthTrack software.

·      Background in medical software support or working within healthcare IT.

·      Knowledge of medical practice billing processes (Medicare, DVA, Eclipse).

·      Prior experience in technical support or IT-related roles.

Reporting Structure

The Level 1 Support Specialist reports to the Implementation and Support Manager.
