Spare Parts Interpreter

At MRE, we are committed to providing top-quality parts and service to our clients. As our business grows, we are looking to hire a Spare Parts Interpreter to help ensure smooth and efficient operations.
As a Spare Parts Interpreter, you will be a key player in processing spare parts orders accurately and efficiently. You will interpret part numbers, descriptions, and technical specifications while managing data entry tasks and ensuring all orders are processed in a timely manner. You will be able to juggle multiple tasks and handle customer and supplier communications to resolve any discrepancies quickly. Your accuracy and attention to detail will be essential in helping us maintain smooth operations.
Core responsibilities include parts identification, system data entry, and customer service.
Full time role working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately input spare parts data into the system for order processing, ensuring the highest level of accuracy under tight deadlines.
· Interpret part numbers, descriptions, to ensure the correct parts are selected for each order.
· Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to clarify discrepancies, provide updates, and ensure prompt resolution.
· Manage multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring timely order fulfilment and keeping customers informed of order status.
· Maintain and update inventory data, conducting audits to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
· Troubleshoot and resolve order issues or errors in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
· Provide general administrative support for spare parts management as required.
Essential criteria:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data management systems.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to resolve issues swiftly and professionally.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines.
· Excellent customer service experience.
· Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy.
· Previous experience in data entry, order processing, or inventory management.
Desirable criteria (highly considered):
· Experience in the air conditioning industry, trade and services or logistics
· Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems or order management software.
· Problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies and urgent requests in a high-pressure setting.
