As a Spare Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for interpreting customer requests for spare parts, providing accurate information, and ensuring the right products are supplied in a timely manner. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure a seamless experience and maintain high standards of service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interpret customer requests for spare parts and provide accurate product information
- Raise consignment notes
- Assist customers in identifying the right parts based on their machinery, or equipment needs
- Process orders, track deliveries, and follow up on backorders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts catalogs and technical specifications
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory is managed and orders are fulfilled efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of orders, parts, and customer communications
- Process returns and warranty claims as needed
- Assist with managing and updating spare parts databases and catalogs
- Coordinate with suppliers to source parts and obtain quotes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of spare parts inventory management processes

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., spare parts, automotive, machinery)
- Strong knowledge of spare parts, catalogs, and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to identify and source spare parts quickly and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience using inventory management or ordering software
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A technical background or trade qualification (e.g., automotive/mechanical) is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- High level of organizational and time-management skills
- Must have drivers license
