Key Responsibilities:

  • Machinery Operations: Operating balers, mowers, headers, chaser bin ect.
  • Farm Maintenance: Perform general farm maintenance tasks, equipment upkeep and assist with maintenance programs.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Be a team player: Work alongside other team members, providing support where needed, and assist the farm manager in carrying out larger projects and farm initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years working in cropping or similar agricultural roles. Previous experience operating farm machinery is essential, including GPS.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in all tasks, from planting to harvesting.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive and resourceful attitude with the ability to identify and solve problems as they arise.
  • Work independently:Have the ability to work and perform tasks adequately unsupervised.
  • Available from September, or around that time to commence hay cutting.
