About the role
A new opportunity has come available for an experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our Home Care team in Darwinon a part-time basis working shifts: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only – 08.00am – 16.00pm.This role attracts a salary of $ $36.59 / hour (pending skills and experience) and ability to pick up additional shifts ad hoc will be available.
This role will see you travelling to people's homes and providing in-home cleaning duties, attending to appointments, and general care duties in accordance with their approved care plan.
This role will also include high-clean duties which include more in-depth cleaning such as window's, ceiling fans etc.
As the ideal candidate, you will be comfortable travelling to our consumers' homes to primarily deliver cleaning services and will have a reliable and fully insured vehicle. You must be comfortable to complete allocated cleaning tasks as part of this role.
As the successful candidate, you will be kind and compassionate in your approach to our consumers and be understanding and supportive of their needs whilst, able to interpret and understand their care-plans and stick to the delegated services.
Please note: Visa or Immigration sponsorship is not available with this role.

Skills & experience:
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in Cleaning, domestic or commercial.
- Experience in assisting with the activities of daily living in a community or Home Care setting.
- Comfortable to work where delegated tasks are primarily cleaning over delivering of care.
- NT Driver's license and access to a reliable and fully comprehensive insured vehicle.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
- Strong technical skills and able to log and complete tasks via mobile phones and apps.
