Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized care and support in alignment with each client's goals and objectives.
  • Provide assistance with personal care, daily living tasks, and mobility support as required.
  • Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication administration to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Support clients with their community involvement and social activities, promoting independence and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Support Worker, specifically in disability services is mandatory.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and person-centered care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification to ensure a safe working environment.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation to facilitate client visits.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) to meet regulatory requirements.
