About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services across acute, subacute and OPD areas with infrequent clinical practice supervision, utilising high level clinical judgement and evidenced based practice in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Provide high level clinical advice to supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional clinical standards, workforce issues and clinical service development to enhance teamwork and clinical outcomes.
  • Contribute to day-to-day management of a small work unit or team with infrequent operational supervision to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within local service area.
  • Identify and contribute to the development of evidence based clinical practice, procedures, protocols and education materials at a local, and state-wide level, to improve the delivery of services, and support the continuum of care and the provision of a multi-disciplinary health service.
