Make a difference as a Property Underwriting Assistant

Your Role

You'll provide policy administration and support the assessment of moderate to complex insurance risks, helping determine their acceptability, conditions, and pricing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and processing new quote requests, running natural disaster modelling, calculating policy endorsements, and updating renewal quotes. You'll also collaborate with Account Management and Business Development teams to assist with account servicing and procurement.

This role offers a structured environment with strong processes and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow in underwriting. You'll be part of a team that values precision, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), with hybrid working arrangements available.

You're detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable, with a genuine interest in building a career in insurance. You enjoy working with systems and processes and thrive in a collaborative team environment. This is supported by:

  • The ability to problem-solve independently and manage multiple systems
  • A keen interest in insurance and underwriting (prior experience is advantageous)
