About the role
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused person to join our team at Mike's Country Kitchen in the Launceston CBD, Tasmania. This is a casual role with shifts rostered, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.30am to 2.30pm.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service to our many customers
- Processing customer orders and payments
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment
- Contributing to a positive team culture
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within the food and hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- A positive, friendly and helpful attitude
- Flexibility to commence at 7.30am if necessary
- Basic food preparation skills (an advantage but not essential, on-site training will be provided)
