R2S2 Pty Ltd trading as Rozzis Toowomba, operates a busy restaurant serving traditional Italian food to delight the whole family. We are currently seeking two qualified full-time Chefs who can lead and manage the kitchen operations whilst offering high quality selection of dining options to our customers.
Salary offered is $76,515 per annum, plus super.
The applicant must have the following skills
- A Diploma in Hospitality Management
- At least 2 years full-time work experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
The Chef will be responsible for:
- Preparing high-quality, authentic Italian dishes in accordance with menu specifications
- Designing and refining seasonal menus, in collaboration with other chefs and/or management
- Supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to maintain efficiency in a high-paced environment
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Managing and delegating kitchen tasks, overseeing staff performance, and ensuring smooth workflow during service hours
- Monitoring food costs and inventory, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining quality
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
