About the role

As a Truck Driver at RJ Earthworks Qld Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in the construction and earthworks operations of the company. This full-time position is based in Gatton/Toowoomba, QLD 4343 and requires versatility in driving a range heavy vehicles.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operating and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles including Tipper, Truck and Dog, Semi Trailers and Water Trucks.
  2. Driving and operating heavy vehicles to transport materials and equipment
  3. Performing routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance on all assigned equipment
  4. Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
  5. Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure efficient and timely project completion
  6. Reporting any issues or concerns to the site supervisor

What we're looking for

  1. Demonstrated experience as a truck driver in the construction industry
  2. A minimum of 1-2 years experience truck driver in the construction industry is required
  3. A valid MC driver's licence and experience driving heavy vehicles including floating equipment.
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
  6. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform physical labour
  7. Australian work rights are required for this position
  8. White Card certification is required
