Azure DevOps Architect

Tribes Digital is working with a leading service provider client on a large-scale modernization program — moving mission-critical workloads and databases from on-premise systems to Azure Cloud.
We are looking for an experienced Terraform / IaC Infrastructure Engineer who can design and automate cloud infrastructure at scale.

About the Role

As a
Terraform / IaC Engineer
, you will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure environments. You'll focus on
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
, CI/CD automation, and best practices for cloud provisioning, working closely with architects, developers, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    using
    Terraform
    (and optionally ARM/Bicep)
  • Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for cloud provisioning
  • Collaborate with architects to implement
    Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
  • Integrate infrastructure builds into
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
  • Manage state, drift detection, and environment consistency across dev/test/prod
  • Ensure infrastructure follows
    security, compliance, and performance
    best practices
  • Provide automation and DevOps support for cloud transformation projects

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience
    in cloud infrastructure engineering (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong hands-on expertise with
    Terraform
    and IaC design patterns
  • Experience with
    CI/CD tools
    (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Good understanding of
    cloud networking, identity, and security
    concepts
  • Familiarity with
    containers and orchestration (AKS, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in fast-paced transformation programs

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    multi-cloud environments
    (Azure + AWS)
  • Knowledge of
    monitoring and observability tools
    (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Background in large-scale
    telco, banking, or enterprise environments
