About the role

Marcem Australia is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Customer Service Officer to join our team in Tivendale, NT. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse facility, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaising with customers and dealing with their enquires
  • Creating basic quotes for customers
  • Processing purchase orders and liaise with Suppliers
  • Overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods in the warehouse
  • Coordinating the packing and shipping of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Managing inventory levels and stock control procedures
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service to clients, both in person and over the phone
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Collaborating with the wider team to continually improve warehouse processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Strong Can-do attitude with willingness to learn
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations
  • A forklift licence and/or experience operating warehouse machinery would be highly desirable
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to safety in the workplace
