Role Description

This is a role for a Contract Assessor in Early Childhood Education and Care, located in northern region of SA. with some flexibility for work from home. The Contract Assessor will be responsible for assessing and evaluating students' knowledge and practical skills in early childhood education and care. Day-to-day tasks include observing and supporting students during their practical work placement, conducting competency-based assessments, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring assessments meet industry standards and RTO compliance requirements. The role involves liaising with students, trainers, and employers to ensure quality training and assessment outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Early Childhood Education & Care principles and practices
  • Competency in conducting assessments, providing feedback, and maintaining compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care (e.g., Certificate III or Diploma)
  • TAE40121 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar role within the education sector is a plus
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology
