About the role

Ladybird Manor Montessori Early Learning is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team in Adelaide, SA. This part-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children through the delivery of high-quality Montessori-inspired early learning programs.

What you'll be doing

  1. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that nurture children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
  2. Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that aligns with Montessori principles
  3. Montessori training is provided by the centre to deliver genuine Montessori-based learning experiences.
  4. Observe and monitor children's progress, providing individualised support and guidance
  5. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to foster strong partnerships and support each child's holistic development
  6. Maintain accurate records and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our early learning programs
  7. Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  2. Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  3. Thorough understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  5. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality care and education
  6. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and a collaborative team environment
  7. Current First Aid and CPR certification, RRHAN-EC and a valid Working with Children Check
  8. Valid Australian work visa or authorisation to work legally in Australia
