Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Month-End

  • Prepare and review of general ledger reconciliations
  • Process month-end journals including prepayments, accruals, IFRS adjustments, and amortisation, etc.
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of group consolidation and reporting
  • Review of various fee calculations (IM fee, Devt fee, Acquisition fee, leasing fee, etc.) on a monthly basis
  • Review and analysis of monthly expense movements
  • Review of monthly movement of Co-investments
  • Preparation and review of tax returns, BAS, Fringe benefits tax and payment times reporting
  • Preparation of tax/distribution calculations and laise with external advisors
  • Review of issuance of various revenue invoices
  • Prepare monthly P&L variance commentary

Team Supervision and Support

  • Provide support to the Finance Manager
  • Supervise and review the work of other junior team members
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of properties
  • Provide support on various ad-hoc requirements

Forecasting and Budgeting

  • Partner with business units to prepare accurate forecasts and reporting
  • Contribute/Assist FP&A on budget preparation
  • Provide support on cash flow management

Compliance and Controls

  • Ensure compliance with GS007, statutory audit, tax compliance, debt covenants and internal controls

Process Improvement and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Suggest and contribute to process improvements and finance initiatives
  • Liaise with property/asset managers, fund finance, and other stakeholders on ad-hoc requirements

Qualifications:

  • CA/CPA or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Experience in funds or real estate
