We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Contracts professional to support a small team. You will enhance procurement and contract management processes, improve compliance, and develop practical resources and training for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain procurement, contract, and invoice registers, templates, and how-to guides.
  • Reset records management processes to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Implement compliance reporting, quality assurance activities, and internal audit recommendations.
  • Create training materials to support staff in contract preparation, approvals, and management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed sustainable procurement practices.
  • Ensure compliance with PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, and relevant policies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement, contract, and vendor management in the Australian Government context.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative, policy, and risk frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
