Senior Procurement and Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement and Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, developing contract management plans, and ensuring compliance with legislation and procurement policies.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team building skills, with a deep understanding of contract management and procurement principles. They will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tender documentation, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts with vendors. You will also develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and internal teams.
The successful candidate will have a sound appreciation of Commonwealth legislation and policy, as well as industry standards relating to property matters and security. They will also have a knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policies and contract management frameworks.
