**Security Officers - Townsville Shopping Centre

We are currently seeking Retail Security Officers to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to progress into permanent roles. 

As a Trident Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe, welcoming environment while maintaining a strong security presence on-site. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service, quick-thinking, and ready to be part of a professional and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:**

  • Providing high-quality customer service and front-line support
  • Identifying and resolving potential risks and issues proactively
  • Responding to all medical and security incidents
  • Accurately reporting and recording incidents during your shift
  • Responding to emergencies in line with site protocols
  • Building professional relationships with emergency services
  • Using conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques effectively

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current QLD Security License with valid Crowd Control function
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A customer-first attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work within a rotating 24/7 roster
  • High personal integrity and grooming standards
  • Previous experience in regulated environments (desirable)
