About the role

Linear Hair, a leading hair and beauty salon in Hoppers Crossing VIC, is seeking a part-time Salon Receptionist to join their dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate client records and scheduling appointments in our salon management system
  • Assisting with basic retail sales and processing payments
  • Supporting the salon team by managing the reception area and ensuring a well-organised workflow
  • Contributing to a positive and professional salon environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or salon receptionist role, preferably in the hair and beauty industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with salon management software (or a willingness to learn)
