As an Account Manager you'll work closely with our veterinary clients, delivering innovative solutions—from advanced in-house diagnostic instruments to comprehensive pathology laboratory services to ground-breaking veterinary software —that truly make a difference in the way they care for our pets.
What you can expect- As an Account Manager you will manage and grow your clients' accounts with a clear understanding of their veterinary business and diagnostic needs; you will successfully inspire them to adopt and use "The IDEXX Complete Diagnostic Solution" to raise their standards of care.
- You will be results oriented, have an outstanding level of customer service and responsiveness and you will have a genuine passion to deliver outstanding results.
- There is significant variety in the role, and you will find no two days the same.
- You will be developing partnerships with veterinarians, owners and clinic teams to help grow their business; selling IDEXX products and services and helping to onboard and train the veterinary teams on IDEXX diagnostic equipment, services and technology.
- This focus will enable you to exceed your sales targets for the quarter and discover new opportunities.
- Working alongside your colleagues you will collaborate and implement new strategies for the benefit of your customers; attend relevant trade shows, attend and deliver IDEXX educational content and maintain and update client information using
- The role will include overnight travel to your regional territory
- A strong foundation in both sales and technical expertise, with the confidence to engage in solution-based conversations.
- Experience in the veterinary industry is a plus, but not essential—we value passion and a willingness to learn.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- A commitment to exceptional customer service, with a responsive and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational and territory management skills, or the drive to develop them.
- Outstanding communication abilities, with the capacity to understand and convey complex technical information clearly.
- Natural relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
- Experience in diagnostic or capital equipment sales is highly regarded.
- Above all, a genuine desire to make a difference in animal health and contribute to a purpose-driven team.
