Senior Golang Engineer & Mid-Level Golang Engineer needed ASAP for 2 x 12 month contracts with a leading Australian Brand based in Sydney.

In this role you will:

● Deliver back-end processing of cutting edge tech solutions

● Work closely with the product team to deliver new capabilities

● Coach more junior members of the team in coding standards and architecture (Senior role)

● Work in fully automated, Slack integrated CI/CD DevOps environment.

You will need the following skills and experience:

● Strong experience delivering Golang backend services (ideally 3-5+ years)

● Experience creating auto-scaling microservices & APIs

● Deploying releases to test and production Kubernetes environments

● Working alongside product and other teams to find simple solutions to complex problems

● Heavy focus on code review and peer testing

● Working in small, autonomous Agile squads

● Up-skilling in DevOps and other areas of our tech stack

You will also need the following skills and attributes:

● Proven experience and strong pedigree in software engineering

● Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills

● Proactive and self-motivated

● Testing and quality assurance throughout the SDLC

● Capability to help guide and provide input to the technical direction

● Comfortable leaning into AI-driven development to accelerate engineering tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability

These roles are hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days per week WFH
