Altitude Supplements, located in Terminal 2, Perth Airport, is a growing provider of high-quality health and wellness products, committed to helping our customers achieve their fitness and wellness goals.

About the role

Due to recent growth and new store expansion occurring over the next 2 months, we are requiring a reliable, positive, passionate and customer-focused Casual Retail Assistant to join our team at our Perth Airport store.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate basic awareness of supplements, fitness and nutrition to be effective from the start.

This is a flexible, casual position (approx. 5–10 hours per week initially), but you will need to be available to cover other shifts when required during our operating hours (please see below), including during staff holidays or sick leave.

Please note this position has potential for additional hours in our second store for the right candidate.

Our current hours of operation are:

  • Mon – Thurs: 4am to 4pm
  • Fri: 4am to 2:30pm

Hours of operation will change with the opening of the second store to include weekends (7am to 7pm), and weeknights until 8pm, so availability during those times will be required.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering excellent customer service and assisting with product selection and inquiries
  • Adhering to company policies, following store procedures and safety guidelines
  • Working with sales targets and KPIs, and striving to exceed them
  • Restocking and organising product displays
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Maintaining a clean and well-presented store environment
  • Processing sales transactions and handling cash payments

What we're looking for

  • Customer service superstars with the ability to upsell and cross sell
  • Knowledge of supplements, nutrition and fitness
  • Availability and reliability
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the fitness, health or wellness industry
  • Familiarity with working toward sales targets and KPIs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
  • Extremely well-presented, super friendly, confident and trustworthy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Numeracy and cash handling skills
  • Australian work rights are essential for this position
