We are the Sydney-based branch of one of the largest banks in the world. We bank our value/strategic customers with a wide range of lending and financial products and services to meet their financial needs. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of the deal process, from analyzing new investment opportunities, to negotiating deal terms, to presenting these to the firm's credit committee and rating agencies. More importantly, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience through exposure to many renowned deal opportunities and interaction with many great clients.

Currently we are looking for a friendly and hardworking GA Officer with a minimum 2 years of experience to join us.

Responsibilities shall include, however not be limited to:

·       Reception duties, accounts documentation management, procurement of office supplies, courier arrangements, filing, photocopying, collating and maintenance of office equipment.

·       Maintain and manage an office calendar of events, meetings, and boardroom bookings.

·       Maintenance and upkeep of the office, including communal kitchen and all common areas to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.

·       Monthly billing and reconciliations of expenses.

·       Preparing for meetings, arranging travel itineraries for interstate and overseas travel.

·       Coordinating and managing supplier relationships, including contract renewals, invoicing, and payment processing.

·       Supporting HR with basic administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, and coordinating staff activities.

·       Plan, organise, and execute internal and external events, including corporate meetings, employee engagement activities, and community events.

·       Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event delivery.

·       Provide basic IT maintenance and troubleshooting for office equipment, including computers, printers, and network connections.

·       Liaise with external IT support providers for system issues, upgrades, and maintenance.

·       Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure equipment is functioning properly.

·       Meeting and greeting all visitors, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

·       Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional manner.

·       Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness.

·       Providing general administrative support to management and other departments as required.

Skills and Attributes:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

·       Proven experience in an administrative or office management role within a corporate environment, ideally in financial services or banking.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

·       Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

·       Basic IT maintenance and troubleshooting skills to handle day-to-day technical issues.

·       Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build long-term working relationships.

·       Experience in event planning, supplier coordination, and basic HR administration is highly regarded.

Some experience within the financial services organisations or banking industry is desirable, but not mandatory.
