Gas Calibration Laboratory Technician Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Gas Calibration Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate gas calibration lab operations comply with ISO 17025 standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will perform gas laboratory measurements, reporting, and documentation in compliance with ISO 17025 and legal regulations.
  • You will coordinate the calibration of laboratory and production equipment, including issuing certificates of conformance.
  • You will identify and quarantine non-conforming products, equipment, or materials.
  • You will investigate root causes of testing, calibration, or quality issues; implement corrective actions and mitigate future occurrences.
  • You will compile and report test results and statistics promptly.
  • You will support daily operations, documentation, and duty coordination.
  • You will assist with external audits and maintain internal audit systems.
  • You will maintain a clean, safe, and functional laboratory environment.
About You:
  • We are looking for someone with entry-level experience in a calibration and testing laboratory role.
  • You should have proven experience in issuing measurement and test reports.
  • You should have a strong background in quality standards and best practices.
  • You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • You should be able to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
  • You should have high motivation, a 'can-do' attitude, and attention to detail.
  • Diploma qualification in Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • You should be committed to onsite attendance: a 5-day in-office workweek.
