Milestone IT is working with a prominent and forward-thinking healthcare organisation based in Melbourne to find an experienced Automation Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see you drive automation initiatives across a large, multi-site health network that values innovation, inclusivity, and digital transformation.

About the Role:

As an Automation Specialist, you will play a key leadership role in delivering intelligent automation solutions using UiPath and PowerAutomate. You'll be involved in everything from stakeholder engagement and solution design to mentoring developers and shaping the strategic direction of automation within a growing digital innovation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of RPA solutions using UiPath and PowerAutomate.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and map business processes.
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation architectures.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.
  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, development standards, and data security.
  • Prepare documentation including Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
  • Contribute to the organisation's broader digital roadmap by identifying and recommending emerging technologies.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in developing and deploying RPA solutions using UiPath, PowerAutomate, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks, architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Demonstrated experience leading automation initiatives and mentoring development teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance in automation.

Highly Desirable:

  • UiPath Advanced Developer or PowerAutomate certification.
  • Experience working in healthcare or with EMR systems.
  • Exposure to UiPath AI modules (AI Center, IXP, Document Understanding).
