About CAH

CAH is a serviced apartment hotel located in Carlton, VIC, it's situated in Australia's restaurant capital in the heart of Carlton's famous Lygon Street precinct.

About your role

CAH is now seeking 1 Multi-purpose role. This role will initially be management of 12 different units in the Clocktower complex. As both Front office receptionist and occasionally Housekeeping staff

The key focus of this role is offering exceptional customer service which will include some property management tasks and administration.

This is a part time position that will work 3-4 days per week, each shift will be short around 3 hours. Preferably able to work on the weekends, weekly hours might vary between 10-20 hours

If employed the employee will sign an Agreement with the business

Australian standard wage (different for skill level) + 25% Casual Loading + 11% Superannuation  

Duties and Responsibilities for Reception

  • Operate the day to day front desk reception area.
  • Assist with leasing and the ongoing property management of our apartments.
  • Assist with reservations and administration of customer accounts.
  • Conduct apartments/room inspections.
  • Provide general administration support.
  • Assist residents with enquiries related to their residency, studies, general needs and overall well-being.
  • Liaise with third parties regarding building facilities management including maintenance, security etc.
  • Managing day to day cleaning schedule.

What we look for

  • Good communication skills and warming personality
  • Be able to follow CAH Receptionist Duties and Basic Tasks (provided during training) diligently.
  • Adequate guest services and administration experience in the accommodation industry.
  • Previous experience with RMS Management System will be well regarded.
  • Be culturally aware and understanding of different cultures.

Preferred Criteria:

  • PR or Citizenship required
  • Be able to come to site in a short notice
