About the role
EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Data Centre Security Officer to join our team in Brisbane. This role provides security services to our valued client at a premium location and as a Data Centre Security Officer you will play a vital role in protecting the safety and assets of our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Provide a visible security presence to deter and prevent criminal activity
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to any security incidents or alarms
- Respond and communicate in a professional manner
- Conduct random patrols and respond to security incidents and breaches and alarm activations
- Assist customers and clients as required, ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain detailed records and logs of security-related activities
- Respond to and report on any security breaches or emergencies
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- NV1 clearance (Highly Desirable)
- Emergency Management/Response Experience
- Knowledge of Fire Control Panels, Access Control and CCTV systems
- An understanding of WH&S and the ability to identify & manage risks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Vigilance, proactive and situational awareness
- Intermediate level with Microsoft suite of products including outlook, word and excel desirable
- Ability to be able to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various backgrounds
