About the role

EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Data Centre Security Officer to join our team in Brisbane. This role provides security services to our valued client at a premium location and as a Data Centre Security Officer you will play a vital role in protecting the safety and assets of our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide a visible security presence to deter and prevent criminal activity
  • Monitor surveillance systems and respond to any security incidents or alarms
  • Respond and communicate in a professional manner
  • Conduct random patrols and respond to security incidents and breaches and alarm activations
  • Assist customers and clients as required, ensuring a positive experience
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of security-related activities
  • Respond to and report on any security breaches or emergencies
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role
  • NV1 clearance (Highly Desirable)
  • Emergency Management/Response Experience
  • Knowledge of Fire Control Panels, Access Control and CCTV systems
  • An understanding of WH&S and the ability to identify & manage risks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Vigilance, proactive and situational awareness
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft suite of products including outlook, word and excel desirable
  • Ability to be able to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various backgrounds
