About the Role
The Project Controls Lead – Digital System Implementation is a critical position designed to enhance UGL's digital capabilities and improve project delivery across a range of energy infrastructure contracts. You'll lead the establishment and implementation of a standardised Digital Project Controls framework, utilising cutting-edge systems and sustainable solutions to streamline operations, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
Key Responsibilities
As the Project Controls Lead, you will:
· Conduct gap analyses of current systems and processes.
· Define success criteria and KPIs aligned with business objectives.
· Lead the design, configuration, and integration of digital tools.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
· Develop system implementation timelines and cost forecasts.
· Create detailed operating and user procedures.
· Coordinate and manage system implementation schedules.
· Provide guidance, training, and technical support to key stakeholders.
· Ensure reporting accuracy and validate system interoperability.
· Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement and review performance against KPIs quarterly.
· Additionally, you will actively seek delivery improvement opportunities and generate innovative solutions to tackle project challenges. Compliance with UGL's policies and procedures will form a core part of your operational responsibilities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you bring:
· Extensive experience with SAP software – mandatory.
· Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (or trade qualifications with 5+ years in a similar role) – preferred.
· A minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Controls, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
· A solid understanding of industry trends, best practices, and end-user requirements.
· Proven expertise in project controls system implementation.
· High attention to detail, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
· A commitment to continuous improvement and professional conduct.
