About the Role

As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in planning, designing, and implementing secure computer networks and IT systems. You'll work across software, hardware, and infrastructure domains, contributing to the full lifecycle of materiel capabilities. This is ahigh-impact role in a collaborative, agile environment.

Experience

Essential:


• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, design, security, and trouble shooting


• Proficiency in Docker, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines


• Experience with Windows and Linux OS, VMware, and object-oriented programming


• Systems engineering on medium to large projects, including HLD/LLD and reference architecture


• High-level communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Desirable:


• Experience in cyberoperations environments, and agile development


• Programming in C# and Angular


• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and system simulations for training


• Vendor certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Linux)

Responsibilities


• Design and implement secure, scalable networks and IT systems


• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure


• Configure and maintain network devices, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems


• Document network architecture and engineering processes


• Develop prototypes, write requirements, and assess system integrity


• Engage stakeholders and support capability lifecycles


• Ensure compliance with legislative, policy, and safety frameworks


• Provide technical recommendations and manage engineering authorities

Security Requirements

  • Must hold a current NV2 clearance
  • Ability to obtain a Positive Vetting (PV) clearance highly desirable
