
Supply Chain Team Member

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role of Supply Chain Team Member is to support the ongoing management of all inbound and outbound products to fulfill Micro-X's production manufacturing requirements. As part of the Supply Chain Team you will be responsible for managing material flow, receipt of and inspection of goods and outbound shipping. You will continually strive to achieve the best quality whilst maintaining a proactive approach to safety.
This role will be responsible for driving safety, productivity, quality and continuous improvement in the Supply Chain functions. An integral part to this role is being a self-starter, coordinating deliveries and shipments and being proactive in achieving throughput, service delivery times and enhancing team morale. The role will also require being part of the Manufacturing Team when required and which will involve assisting with the build and delivery of products to the build schedule. The business culture at Micro-X requires the incumbent to have energy, initiative and drive to deliver Micro-X 's manufacturing vision to grow a profitable, multi-product, ISO13485 final assembly and test facility supported by a strategic network of sub-assembly suppliers and manufacturing partners. The role may also require interstate and overseas travel
The candidate will have production experience with ISO quality management manufacturing, leadership capability and experience, knowledge of QMS and must be familiar with production system development and lean principles.
Responsibilities:

Maintain the Micro-X warehouse facility and develop and implement efficient documented processes

Responsibility for Incoming Inspection activities to ensure compliance with quality standards

Manage non-conforming materials and product
-
Manage spare parts supply requirements.

Build, box and ship spares to order.
-
Parts picking for production builds. Support production builds.
-
Support product testing.
-
Participate in meetings.
-
Develop and utilise training and skills to drive continuous improvement.
-
Liaise with clients and suppliers.
-
Participate in internal and external audits.
Key Knowledge and Experience:
-
Knowledge of lean assembly processes and continuous improvement activities.
-
Experience in developing and delivering standardised manufacturing processes.
-
Experience of managing and motivating a team in an assembly operation and a supply chain in an ISO quality management environment.
-
Knowledge of high value low / medium volume manufacturing techniques and practices would be preferred.

Demonstrated work ethic.
