About the role

Katungul Aboriginal Corporation Regional Health and Community Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality healthcare services at our medical centre in Narooma, NSW. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical operations and ensuring the efficient and effective provision of primary healthcare to the local Indigenous community.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management of all clinical services and programs at the medical centre
  • Oversee the delivery of culturally appropriate and accessible healthcare services to patients
  • Manage, mentor and support a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and allied health staff
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and protocols to maintain high clinical standards
  • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, legislation and accreditation requirements
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including Aboriginal organisations, government agencies and other healthcare providers
  • Monitor and report on clinical outcomes, KPIs and budgets
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of the medical centre

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing, healthcare management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior clinical management role, preferably within the Aboriginal health sector
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary healthcare team and driving clinical excellence
  • Strong understanding of primary healthcare, community-based service delivery and Aboriginal health issues
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to providing culturally safe and responsive healthcare services
