About the Role
As a Project Estimator at Burbank SA, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely estimating services across our residential projects. You'll work closely with Drafting, Edge Studio, Construction, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless project documentation and pricing from concept to build.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tender pricing, source quotes, and liaise with suppliers and procurement.
- Coordinate production budgets aligned with tender submissions.
- Manage variation pricing and ensure accuracy in file checks.
- Attend internal project meetings to validate pricing and plans.
- Support construction teams with pricing and order queries.
- Collaborate with Edge Studio to price interior design selections.
- Assist retail estimators with new home tenders, sales pricing, and display home pricing.
- Ensure compliance with Burbank's Variation Policy and Pricing Schedule.
- Contribute to national process improvements and product reviews.
- Liaise with interstate teams to maintain consistency and drive innovation.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the building industry, ideally with a strong construction background.
- Experience in sales and production estimating (tendering experience is a bonus).
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and engineering documentation.
- Solid understanding of building terminology.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with figures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a team environment.
