Being a part of our team

Based in our manufacturing facility in Acacia Ridge, you will be responsible for operating the warehouse and assisting with the manufacturing of optical fibre cable solutions. With full time hours, Monday to Friday you will:

  • Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure stock is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage the inventory, ordering and assembly of OFS products.
  • Build different inventory components used for Optical Fibre Cable installation.
  • Repair and maintain workshop equipment, workshop area and grounds.
  • Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
  • Maintain and promote quality and safety standards.

About you

You are a self-starter who takes initiative to complete tasks to a high standard. You are a team player who is willing to help where required. You have a "can do" attitude, are quality oriented and can work to deadlines.

Ideally you will have previous experience in warehousing and production and manufacturing processes.

Essential skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • The ability to achieve results of a high quality through to deadlines
  • Previous experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Currently hold a manual Australian Driver's License
  • A basic level of competency with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • The right to work in Australia with no restrictions

Highly Desirable, however not essential to apply

  • Forklift license
  • Previous electrical and / or mechanical experience would be beneficial.
