We are seeking experienced Bus Driver for casual position of 20-25 hours per week during school terms, with flexible availability and willingness to do split shifts. We have a great opportunity located in O'Halloran Hill. On offer is ongoing work with flexibility with varied shifts available.

Role details

  • Scheduled Transport: Manage and execute the daily student transport roster as provided by the Transport Coordinator.
  • Activity Transport: Facilitate transportation for students and staff for all required college excursions, activities, and camps.
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Promptly report any safety or maintenance issues to the Transport Coordinator.
  • Vehicle Presentation: Keep the assigned vehicle clean and orderly at all times.
  • Student Compliance: Ensure accurate student tracking by enforcing the correct tagging on and off the bus.
  • Policy Adherence: Maintain full compliance with all School Transport Policies and Procedures.
  • Respectful interaction with all students, staff, parents and visitors
  • Collaborate effectively within the Transport Team to ensure the seamless daily operation of the College.
  • Complete any other reasonable or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Transport Coordinator

What you need

Recent heavy vehicle driving experience with a clean driving record. A minimum of 12 months operating experience in your license class. You will need to be safety focused, with a high level of physical fitness.

  • Current Heavy Vehicle licence (LR,MR,HR,HC)
  • Driver accreditation (LP)
  • Working with children check
  • Current police check
  • Provide First Aid & CPR certified (desirable)
  • Current driver history report
