About Us
At QT Speech Therapy and Learning Centre, we're dedicated to helping clients of all ages find their voice and reach their full communication potential. We are a supportive, values-driven team that believes in growth, collaboration, and shared learning. We use a variety of service delivery models (individual, group, clinic, home, and school-based) to ensure we meet our clients where they are.
New Graduates are Welcome
We are excited to support the next generation of Speech Pathologists. We offer a supportive onboarding process, regular clinical supervision, ongoing training, and mentorship to help you confidently transition into your professional career. You'll be part of a team with a warm, inclusive culture.
The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Speech Pathologist to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad experience while making a genuine impact on clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Client-Centered Care: You will assess and manage a varied caseload of clients with communication difficulties, developing and implementing family-focused, goal-directed plans of care.
- Evidence-Based Practice: You'll deliver services in a variety of settings (clinic, home, school) using high-quality, evidence-based practice (EBP).
- Team Collaboration: You will actively participate in and promote the interdisciplinary management of clients, communicating and liaising with families, carers, and other health professionals.
- Professional Growth: You'll engage in professional development activities, including regular clinical supervision with a Senior Speech Pathologist and team meetings.
- Cultural Sensitivity: You will demonstrate sensitivity to other cultures and promote access to services for clients from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations.
Why Join Us?
- Work in an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
- Receive mentorship from the Principle Speech Pathologist with over 25 years of experience.
- Join team and community events such as frequent team lunches, biannual team bonding events, and seasonal community gatherings.
- Enjoy the benefits of working in a small, family business whilst also having a stable workflow through a rewarding caseload.
About you
Applicants considered for the role will have:
- A degree in Speech Pathology as recognised by SPAA.
- Undergraduate clinical experience in providing client/family-centred speech pathology services.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 licence acceptable).
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and time management skills.
- An understanding of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and the ability to apply it in a clinical setting.
