About the Role
As a Senior Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer at Babcock, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical outcomes across the Engineering Product Lifecycle.
You'll apply advanced V&V engineering principles to plan, design, build and execute complex technical solutions across a wide range of applications and domains.
This role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you'll support decision-making across multidisciplinary engineering teams and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
You'll contribute to technical investigations, provide expert guidance, and ensure safety, quality and compliance are built into every stage of the engineering lifecycle.
About You
You're an experienced V&V Engineer who is confident working independently and delivering high-quality results. You thrive on solving complex problems using a broad technical knowledge base, and you bring sound judgment, initiative and a proactive approach to all your work.
You're capable of leading engineering activities, mentoring others, and driving forward technical outcomes that align with project timelines, budgets and safety standards.
Your collaborative mindset and communication skills allow you to foster strong working relationships across technical teams and stakeholders.
Above all, you're passionate about engineering excellence and committed to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that support Babcock's mission and values.
To be successful in this position you will bring:
- Extensive experience in relatable V&V engineering roles.
- A good understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. JIRA, SharePoint, DOORS, Teamcenter).
- Desirable experience working in High Frequency Communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.
