What you will be doing and delivering:
The Production Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and automation systems and keeping our operations running smoothly. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting production performance across the site. The role combines technical know-how with a proactive approach to maintenance, working across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, partnering with production teams, support new equipment installations, and driving improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and safety. You will also supports project work and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, training and teamwork.
What you will bring to the role:
- Take ownership of preventative and breakdown maintenance across a range of mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Troubleshoot and support PLC-based systems (Allen-Bradley/Siemens) and assist with robotic and automated equipment.
- Keep our maintenance systems up to date — from managing spare parts to maintaining accurate records and asset registers.
- Play a key role in installing, commissioning, and optimising new machinery and plant upgrades in partnership with production teams.
- Share your expertise by training and coaching staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing ideas and solutions to boost equipment performance and reliability.
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and managing external contractors when required.
- A strong work ethic and reliability with a positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
