ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Supervisor plays a key role in leading the day-to-day operations of the Truss & Frame plant to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety in every build. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll oversee a team of truss and frame assemblers, and operators, to deliver accurate and timely production outcomes that meet quality and customer expectations. You'll be hands-on in managing workflow, maintaining production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across people, processes, and equipment. This role is critical in upholding Dahlsens' strong commitment to safety, quality, and service excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Supervising and coordinating daily production activities to meet schedules and delivery deadlines
• Leading, coaching, and supporting team members to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Monitoring production output, efficiency, and waste reduction targets
• Conducting quality checks and ensuring finished goods meet specification standards
• Promoting a culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement
• Maintaining accurate records of production data, incidents, and maintenance requirements
• Supporting onboarding and training of new team members

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or truss & frame production environment
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a team-based setting
• Strong understanding of timber truss and wall frame production processes
• Commitment to workplace health and safety and quality assurance practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
