NET Automation, an Australian owned company are the exclusive agents for Camozzi the largest Italian pneumatics manufacturer.
We have an experienced motion & fluid control team who have worked with Camozzi Automation products since the early 2000's, providing excellent industry experience and knowledge.
NET Automation supplies quality Italian pneumatic components to the Asia-Pacific region. We provide professional bespoke solutions for transport, life science, and general industrial.
We are seeking a Graduate in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or undergraduate (3rd, 4th year or master's degree student) with an interest in to join the team at NET Automation. Applicants who have studied/ or are studying a double degree in Engineering and Commerce are encouraged to apply. We are open to applicants with relevant experience and interest in this field.
This is a part-time to full-time position which can be negotiated around university studies.
To integrate effectively into our team, you will be expected to participate in all aspects of the company including meetings, sales, specifications, calculations and assembly.
You will require excellent written and oral communication skills. In addition to outstanding organisational and inter-personal skills.
Key responsibilities:
To provide technical support for products and designs
To coordinate assembly of products, control systems and boxes.
To develop own knowledge of the products to assist customers
To assist in ensuring the deadlines are met for customer requirements.
To ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely in line with Work Safe Victoria practices.
To be competent in using the operating system for the tasks required.
Desired Skills/Attributes:
Currently studying / graduate in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
Strong academic background in relevant coursework
Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modelling pneumatic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills
Ability to work autonomously or within a team setting.
Demonstrates a mechanical aptitude.
Displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn within our business.
Prior experience or coursework in pneumatic engineering is desirable but not necessary.
Remuneration will be based on negotiations with the successful applicant.
