We are seeking a Vehicle Buyer to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you'll be at the heart of the action, proactively sourcing and purchasing vehicles that drive strong results and profitability for the business.

The role will focus on monitoring online platforms and contacting sellers to proactively source vehicles on behalf of the business. You'll play a key role in building our stock pipeline and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients

Requirements:

  • Experience in automotive sales, buying or wholesale OR eager to learn on the job
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating online platforms and trade channels.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently while being a team player.
  • Passionate about cars and the automotive industry.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Australian Police Check
  • Full Australian Driver's License
  • Full Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)

Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Actively identify and make contact with sellers on online marketplaces to secure vehicle acquisitions.
  • Follow up with inbound leads from our website or phone enquiries to assess suitability and negotiate vehicle purchases

  • Negotiate effectively with sellers to secure strong outcomes.

  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, pricing movements, and demand shifts.

  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and transactions
  • Consistently follow up with previous sellers or clients who have not yet sold their vehicle or who initially declined offers, to re-engage and secure opportunities.
