In this role you will

  • Contribute to the development of policy and program proposals that drive strategic and coordinated responses to priority water projects.
  • Prepare high-quality policy papers, briefs, reports, and submissions, including material for senior decision-makers on departmental priorities and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain productive partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, including local, state, and federal government, industry, and community organisations.
  • Represent the Department's vision, values and strategic agenda with professionalism when engaging with clients, stakeholders, and partner agencies.
  • Coordinate information sharing, consultation, and negotiations to support the timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Provide clear, evidence-based advice on complex policy and project issues.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a high performing team environment.
  • Prepare progress reports, briefing notes, presentations, and correspondence to support executive and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Undertake other duties as required
