About This Opportunity

We are seeking Production Operators for permanent employment opportunities at our QCoal Northern Hub Project located in Collinsville.

As part of Thiess's team, you'll play a crucial role in:

  • Operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently to maximise productivity.
  • Adhering to Thiess' safety standards and operational procedures.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to earn up to $130,395.00 plus super + $10,000 Retention Payment (paid in 52 weekly payments) + Market payments up to $15,000 to be applied – role dependant
  • Attendance allowance - $250 per fortnight
  • BIBO from Townsville
  • Camp accommodation close to mine site - 10 minutes down the road
  • Even time roster of 7/7 rotating days/nights- 12hr shifts

About You

  • Experience operating at least one production mining equipment on a mine site (Rear Dump Truck, Dozer, Grader or Excavator)
  • Verified machinery skills list (Signed Training Transcripts)
  • A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team
  • Current Standard 11 and current drivers licence
  • A commitment to a positive safety culture
  • Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Delivery
