We're looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team.

About the Role

This hybrid position combines workshop-based work with field servicing and on-site breakdowns.

You'll carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy road transport vehicles and civil machinery, ensuring our customers' equipment stays on the move.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing in the workshop
  • Attend to breakdowns and field service callouts (including Saturday roster when required)
  • Maintain accurate service records and follow all safety standards
  • Work closely with the management team to deliver reliable, high-quality service

What You'll Bring

  • Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Proven experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and diagnostics
  • Air Conditioning Licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Current driver's licence (HR licence a plus)
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and communication
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
